My hand brake is not working properly. The cable has been adjusted underneath the car. The handle does not stay tight, it slips back down to almost the off position. The teeth above the handle are edvidently worn. Can I just replace the piece with the teeth, or would it be easier to buy the whole handle assembly. Does anyone have a good one from a parts car?

I am parting out a 1948 that only has 53,000 miles on it. The hand brake should be the same. Let me know if you are interested. Asking price is $20 plus shipping. Thank you.
