Does anyone know off the top of their head the widest width of a 56 Clipper Custom and a 56 Patrician?

If Packard specs are to be believed it is 78" for both.

My road test reprints from 56 give 78" for both the Clipper Custom and 400.
Reportedly, one of the reasons the Packard tooling wasn't shipped to South Bend after Detroit operations were closed was that the Packard bodies were too wide to fit in the paint booths and ovens in the Studebaker body plant. The Studebakers were only 71" wide. Other reasons included the cost to move the Packard engine and transmission lines as well, as the equipment had lost it's home in Utica.
