The post

packardinfo.com/xoops/html/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=25151

goes into some detail about installing the new bushings but says nothing about removal of the old ones. Any tips on removal that avoids spreading the arm past the specified 11 1/2 inch would be much appreciated.

Violence with a blunt air chisel, punches, and a big hammer are the rule. Clamp the side you are working on in a vise so your energy is concentrated there and not springing the arm. Penetrating oil helps some, and so does swearing.

In the heat of battle my father wove a tapestry of obscenities that as far as we know is still hanging in space over Lake Michigan.
