Is it worth the money to repair this oil pan? If so, how to do it?

Yes, I occasionally get calls for oil pans. They're such a PITA to pack and so expensive to ship, I try to get out of those sales.

No, that much labor is not really a paying proposition.

If that were the last Packard oil pan in the known universe, I would either soda blast it or soak it in Evaporust, then weld up the problem areas.

Maybe, save it until it is the last one left.

Thanks Jack. Maybe if/when I ship you a load of V8 parts I'll throw this in the box...

The rest of the pan is nice so it's a shame it got messed up.
