Congratulations to your friend.
Believe it was the same owners manual for all. Only distinction or separate manuals was for either Packard or Clipper. Some accessories such as radios etc had supplementary instruction manuals in some years but other than that, don't believe Packard ever had anything separate or model specific post war. As one distinctively Caribbean only item, the 56 has an engraved tag on the glovebox stating this custom built Caribbean was made for such and such and then listed the original purchasers name. Not sure if the 55 had that but other than the plaque and the Caribbean only trim items, no other special printed distinctions that I'm aware of or have seen.

M. Short, any chance your friend could get the VN and thief-proof numbers for me? Utica plant engine and transmission #s would be nice as well if not too much effort. Send via PM if you want to maintain confidentiality of the #s.
