Can you list the part numbers on envelopes. Then it can be looked up in the parts books.

Without seeing the parts, look like sealing rings for Ultramatic?

The Baltimore National meet had a guess the part by feeling them in a bag. If I remember correctly one of the parts vendor won!

I found these local--$50 for all. Is that a good buy? I just like to collect these old parts.

shameless bump, the guy wants to meet tomorrow and do you guys think it's a fair price? I just don't have any idea really. Heck, if one of you guys really wants these or could use them I'll give you his contact info.

Guess the price would depend on whether you have a need for them or just want to hold on for future sale. Not sure how much demand there would be right off.

They are an item that might be changed in a proper Ultra rebuild although unlike the bushings, the metal piston rings usually don't wear that much. I didn't look the actual use on all up but one is for one version of the DD clutch and another is for the high range clutch.

Offhand I didn't see any of them carried by Max so no prices available there. Kanter doesn't break his parts down that far on his website but surely has them. He's not known for giving Ultra parts away so you might be OK at the asking price -- just a matter of how long before you find a need or a buyer.
