I believe it was 3,000 miles. In the post-war years. Isnt it covered in the Owner's manual?

As many times as I have read my owners manual, I missed the Dealer's guarantee. For 1956 it was 4,000 miles or 90 days. I would hazard a guess that was the norm for that period of time.
Thanks Kev, for the reminder.

From OM's, all postwar appears to be 90 day 4000 mile.

As with the 34 models they came with a 90 day warrenty. I'm sure this would have been the norm for the company to provide a 90 day warrenty.

I believe it wasn't until the very early '60s that a 1 year 12,000 mi warranty was offered by Ford, and around '63 or '64, iirc, that Chrysler broke new ground with the first 5/50 extended warranty, which immediately boosted their sales.
