Dear Crotomac:
Elsewhere in the forum I posted a note about Bill Hirsch's Packard green engine paint. I also posted a spray card next to an original part for people to compare. It comes in spray cans. Cheers

Krylon makes a green paint that is pretty close to the Packard green. I think it might be Moss green. I can't think of the name offhand but it is what I used to paint the transmission and clutch cover. I used the Hirsch paint on the head and engine block and it is very durable.

Thanks for the help. I hope to do a full freshening up of the engine compartment in another year or two and then I will get the Hirsch paint. However, the Krylon sounds like it may be just what I need to take care of my needs for now.
Thanks again, Miles
