BDeB, 1949 to 1954 would also include 22nd and 23rd series Custom 8s with 356 engines and that lifter isn't for them. If in fact that lifter is for Packard and not Cadillac or Lycoming or some other, perhaps a better response would be 288, 327 and 359 engines.

My question is - What does it fit? I have given some specs. I do know it does not fit Packard 356 engine. How do you know it fits Packard and not Cadillac or Lycoming or others? What are specs for Packard lifter---specs for Cadillac lifter--- specs for Lycoming lifter? Thanks

Thanks to Mr.Paul Foley of California I know the application for the hydraulic lifter. It fits 1941-1948 Cadillac. I have 12 NOS lifters for sale. Thanks
