I notice a flat or stepped roof on the garage and the the house next to it. Are flat roofs popular in Arizona???
The large drive way will be a great asset. Not much rain there in AZ so the driveway will allow for other projects to get started too.

Yes Keith......very perceptive. But I think my bride may be clued in on conspiratorial thoughts. Also yes on flat type roofs. Many here of my home's era and older are similarly constructed. We don't get much rain; but when it does WATCH OUT. Our monsoons open the skies when they arrive.

Kevin has a beautifully restored 1955 Packard 400... of that there is no doubt. It took a lot for him to get there though and for that he deserves maximum kudos. IMO, He's allowed to flaunt it a bit.

I had the privilege of both displaying my "old, original" 55 Pat next to his 400 at Laughlin and riding in it on Saturday night to the PackardInfo.com dinner. His 400 drives like a new car. For a Packard owner and enthusiast, it doesn't get much better than that!

Mike,

The Pinetop show is a cool show. Highly geared towards custom cars unlike ours. My bride and I love that area of Arizona and we have vactioned there for many years. The cool pines and high elevation environment provide some refreshing relaxation from the extended 100 degree days of southern Arizona summers. We are most likely going to go to the show again this year, but as spectators only. Maybe in the fall we can reunite for something between the valley of the sun and the old pueblo?
