Would like to go back to mechanical fuel pump There is a cover plate where pump would go If I take the cover off does a packard need a push rod for the lever Also does the original gas line run on inside of frame or outside back to tank I will also run a primer electric pump line to the carb not thru mechanical pump

If we are still talking 37 120 it just bolts up. Pump arm rides against an eccentric on the cam. Can't help on the location of gas line though.

Smart move going back to a mechanical pump. They all have arms of one sort or another; some ride directly on the cam and others via a push rod, so year and model or engine type, please
