1. Contact the auction house and explain your desire for information. Prepare to get past the "privacy policy."
2. Image search the car to determine if it is being publically shown. Followup with show organizers if necessary. 3. Contact the PAC roster keeper for this model. My bet is a known car has known whereabouts.

I didn't even know Clark owned a six-cylinder Packard. Does a photo of him in front of one exist?
I'm wondering if Harry is referring to the Twin Six that he owned????

Clark Gable owned a number of fine cars, including Duesenbergs and at least two Packards, one being a Darrin roadster.
He liked high-end sporty cars. Where any of them are today, I don't know, but I believe that several have survived. Gable died in 1958.

I've seen 1 of Clark's Darrin's at a well known collector in NJ but that was in 2015 IIRC.

I know whereabouts of at least four Gable cars.
1. 1934 LeBaron speedster (Maine) 2. 193? Bohman & Schwartz Duesenberg (New Jersey) 3. 195? Mercedes-Benz 300SC convertible (California) 4. 1937 Packard Darrin (New Jersey) 5. Of course the Duesenberg SSJ that he is so often associated with but never owned (Ohio) 6. 1932 Packard Twin Six coupe-roadster (don't know where it is anymore, but it is restored and in California somewhere) 7. 195? Jaguar XK120 roadster (recently sold or offered at auction)
