It is flat glass that can be made by any automotive glass shop and you would then have to have a stencil made for the markings. Make a template first before removing the glass.

Thankyou for the reply. As I remember...there is believing around the lines, which would be the hard part. I have attached another photo that shows the beveling, if I'm not mistaken.

I don’t recall any beveling on my 1941 but it was heavily etched.

The pane on the side pictured is flat. Upon enlarging the image, it does look like there is a beveling, or its affect on the opposite side of the glass in the picture, but it also could be an etched or gray line on the opposite side to act as a drop shadow to make it appear as a beveled edge. At any rate, that same affect could be done to a new panel and the lines striped on to the reverse side for the drop shadow affect. Very classy!

Very interesting...if the windows are flat on both sides, with etching on the inside including a thin etched line to mimic beveling, that would explain why the "beveling" would appear to be easily noticeable and would explain the interesting fact that the beveling lines seem to be evenly spaced. On an actual beveled window, one would assume that with the angle of the second photo, the "bevel" on one side of each section of glass would be skinnier.

The assessments above are likely spot-on and I can almost guarantee that Henney did not use any beveled glass on any of their coaches just as the did not have carved side hearses that other coach builders seemed to like.
