My old 22nd series Custom 8 still has the original carpet material in the trunk. If someone could confirm that the same material was used in a 21st series Super Clipper I'd be glad to get a couple of photos of the material.

I don't think Customs and Supers had the same trim level.

I found this photo on eBay of a 1949 Custom. I think this is pretty original. There are others as well.

No. Mine was missing the hogshair carpet if one existed at all but the flocking along the fenders looked similar. I was never able to find out what the trunk in my 21st series car looked like when new.

The carpet inside the car is a brown stuff-I believe it to be orginal. I think I will try to match it as close as possible. Evidently no one really shows off the trunk!!
