I had my done by Prairie Porcelain. It has about 3K miles on it and still looks brand new. For a slight extra charge they will coat the inside of the exhaust manifold to reduce the heat transfer to the outside porcelain.

They indicated that three issue causes them problems.have Jaguar's exhaust manifolds get very hot, manifolds that have been previously repaired and those who run their cars too lean causing excessive heating. In regards to warpage, they use jigs to limit the warpage.

They also indicated if you had issues with the porcelain cracking, they would redo it.

Any idea on what limitations might be expected on mileage or years regarding his willingness to replace the job if (when) cracking occurs?
