Chassis for the phaetons that I've seen are standard 1108 Packard V12 chassis, usually from a sedan; at least such was the case with the Joe Albanese Roxas-bodied phaeton. Posted on: 2009/3/13 10:53

I'm not familiar with any well-done phaetons or boattails that are not done that way. And you are correct, unless you're keeping up with who owns the originals, you can't tell one from another.
