I have a full set of "two humped" trim. ????? The short piece is the same part as the junior uses across the leading edge, and the rest match the profile.

An obvious difference other than chassis between the junior and senior convertibles in 1941 is between push-out vent windows (junior) and crank-out (senior).

Yeah, it's a lovely-looking car, but it's a mongrel and seems a bit suprising that the owner would take it to a PAC National where many of those present would immediately recognize it as bogus.

There is a 120 coupe around sporting senior trim also - the owner is honest about what it is. I really don't have an issue with it, so long as presented as what it is - a junior with senior trim. I promise to be honest about it if you give it to me!

Out of curiosity, was the interior trim changed too (radio grille, dash plastic, etc)?

If it were mine, I'd take it just for fun. What the heck.
As long as he's not trying to pass it off as real, it's kind of interesting to see what could, or should have been.
The radio grille is also different, along with the whole dashboard treatment, but that's a lot easier to replace than vent windows. Even the dashboards between 160 and 180 were quite different.
I don't know if the body on this car was placed on a Senior series chassis, or if somehow they squeezed a 356cid engine in the 120 chassis. I would assume that the only way to make the conversion would be to use the Senior chassis and front-end sheet metal.
I hope we haven't hijacked this thread too badly. More pictures, please.

There are a lot of "concept" cars coming out of Mexico.

I don't know what's less appealing, the concept or the color.

That's the convertible that burned in a garage fire some time ago I believe. He said the sheet metal was so badly warped that he just cut it out and replaced it with wood. He always wanted a woody convertible anyway.
Sorry for the improper identification of the 41. I just used the labeling on the hood and didn't check beyond that. It's already gone or I would check the interior, dash, etc. Again oops.

Fine photos. Got any more? That big RHD 36 Eight or Super Eight with the Marchal? (Lucas? Zeiss?) headlights sure looks terrific with blackwall tires!
