Ross confirmed that the linkage in question is similar to the 55/56 but not the same. It's a simple wire rod with step bends on the ends to retain it.
I have Gerry checking his stock right now.

The anchor tab for the shifter down tube arrived from Joel. Gerry is still trying to look through his parts to see ifnhe has the correct linkage rod.
But as a backup, if anyone with a GearStart can snap a picture of what it looks like on their car I would appreciate it.
