The 54 Patrician that yard drives for $2500. Not bad. Gives you the one year only engine in a senior Packard in black.

Of course, it would require everything ultimately, to show and tour enjoy. I think the seller came to that conclusion.

I restore the car, and the car restores me.

Hi BryanMoran

If that '54 Patrician isn't a total rust-bucket, it might be quite a deal. As far as the interior, unless one is an absolute purist, fitting an interior salvaged from another Patrician is an options, as are seats from a recent Lincoln Town Car. Door panels are simple enough to cover with matching acceptable material. Could be a great daily driver.

A few '40's choices:

A '40 120 club sedan major project:

A '41 120 convertible with sidemounts:

A '47 Clipper Six, 23K miles, ready-to-enjoy:

A '49 Custom Eight, 48K miles, stick with OD, no picture:

1956 Clipper
Its not perfect but might be worth a grand for the AC alone. Its off the beaten path a bit, in the Ozarks.

If you want a lead sled but not a mercury like everyone else, you can consider this packard. It still has the straight 8 in it!

Hi BDC

That's an interesting '38 Eight, looks to be in very nice original condition, wonder if its a 1601-D, Model 1172?

Here's a small variety:

A '55 Clipper, 34K miles, no photo, inexpensive:
http://detroit.craigslist.org/wyn/cto/5161227015.html

A handsome '55 Patrician, 22K miles, factory air, looks good, though green mouse-fur seats:

A '49 Super Deluxe Eight, potmetal looks heavily pitted, 57K miles, I suspect this is the same one that was offered on a Copart auction a few years ago.

A '48 Super Eight convertible parts car, a second one lurks in the background, if you need convertible specific parts:

We have seen this before, but still nice to see it again. As attractive (or more so) as anything Packard did in its concept attempts during that time, in my opinion.
