1935 packard eight Victoria for auction in Germany. As usual it claims pebble win without any proof:

Pebble or not, 4.6 liter engine and hydraulic brakes, really? Nice-looking car but.... get the facts right for that kind of $.

For the money wasted below I can buy three nice original Packards and still have money left over for heated storage.
If the Federal Reserve didn't ruin the nation's monetary system I'd have a hard time not doing just that. "No expense was spared on this build. Over $140,000 was invested and all receipts are available. It is hard to over-stress the quality of this build. It is NOT a "cobbled together" hot rod built in someone's back yard. All work was done by top professionals with an eye toward making the car appear completely stock. The ride height has not been altered. The steering wheel and column are stock Packard. Wheels are stock. All exterior and interior appointments and trim appear original (with the subtle addition of two air conditioning vents below the dash center.) One is hard-pressed to see that anything has been modified. In fact, recently this car was driven from California to the Classic Car Club Museum's national "Packard Experience" Show at Hickory Corners, Michigan, featuring the finest Packards from throughout the U.S. and Canada. This car was displayed on the show field next to completely stock Packards and no one in attendance (including Packard "purists") noted this car to be anything but an original 1941 Coupe from all outward and inward appearances" I guess the "experts" are blind and I don't think the usual CCCA rules applied to that exhibit. I didn't go even though it was only two hours from my doorstep.

Hi
Somewhat more reasonably-priced than that '35 at the Coys Auction, though not the rarified, pre-war desirable specimens: A '38 Eight sedan, looks like a nice daily driver: http://newjersey.craigslist.org/cto/5171402606.html A 'blackout' 49 Eight, body looks solid, cheap: http://cnj.craigslist.org/cto/5208628088.html A '52 200, typical of how northeast cars outside end up: http://burlington.craigslist.org/cto/5216019894.html A '53 Clipper Deluxe, looks well-preserved: http://hartford.craigslist.org/cto/5157846641.html Finally, a very decent-looking '54 Patrician, if its better than it looks in the lousy pictures, well worth the price: http://newjersey.craigslist.org/cto/5177180885.html Steve Added 9-17-2015 A '52 300, stick shift, cheap: http://flint.craigslist.org/cto/5220599125.html A nice original '54 Patrician, 75K miles: http://bn.craigslist.org/cto/5218168148.html A gorgeous '56 Patrician, 42K miles, ready-to-enjoy: http://nmi.craigslist.org/cto/5212661789.html

Hi
Variety is the spice of Packards: The short of it, a '40 110 coupe, economical: http://detroit.craigslist.org/wyn/cto/5211810005.html The long of it, a '47 Custom Super seven passenger, gorgeous, known provenance: http://cincinnati.craigslist.org/cto/5219164844.html A '50 Super Eight, looks great, list a 288, should be a 327, check the engine number first: http://chicago.craigslist.org/nwc/cto/5221589679.html That nice original '49 Super Deluxe Eight, someone should buy before I give in and do it, price softening: http://milwaukee.craigslist.org/cto/5210804812.html That black '54 Cavalier that's been listed for a long time, setting ten years, needs motor work from cracked block, not valuable enough to store properly but priced as if it is. http://racine.craigslist.org/cto/5196458225.html Hope someone can buy this one for the right price before its becomes a weathered parts car. Steve
