Yes, it's thin around the exhaust port as well. The good news is the exhaust doesn't need much work.
Does anyone have the valve spring installed height? I'd like to check if the late Mopar V8/V10 beehive springs would fit. jack vines

The 359 had bigger intake valves than the 327. Exhaust were the same. Did the block casting get changed to fit the bigger valves or just machining?

I have both 327s and 359s and as far as I can tell, the castings were the same.
