You could also use the 4L60 which is the non electronic version of the 4L60E. I have a 4T60E (transverse version of the 4L60E) tranny in my quite modified Fiero- 300HP and 300 ft-lbs and it works quite well. The 4L60(E) is a 4 sp with lock up torque convertor.

Any update on the 700R4 conversion kit? I've got a potential engine rebuild customer who would like to install the tranny at the same time.

Absolutely no problems to date nor any expected. We have put on probably 2,000 miles since install.
