I don't see any vents on the rear quarters?
Only 53 and 54 had the rear fender external intake vents. If a 55-56 had an ARA trunk unit -- or any of the other aftermarket trunk units I am aware of -- those had no external vents and only recirculated inside air. If the car has the 55-56 factory AC, those evaporator units were integrated into the dash and firewall. If desired, external air could be admitted via the left side fresh air vent so no need for external vents in the rear.

Hi Troy
Thanks for the rundown on that '55 Clipper, can't tell much from his listing. Is the AC system complete? What would the car be worth just for that AC system to install in it another car? Steve A couple more selections: A '47 Super Clipper, 35K miles, states Nevada car its whole life: reno.craigslist.org/cto/5713604880.html A '53 Mayfair, weathering in pasture since 1969: oklahomacity.craigslist.org/cto/5718679484.html

So I take that to mean the VW bus behind the Packard is for sale too and you need to chase down that listing to see the Packard dash??

A 37 120 turned into a hotrod with a corvette engine. At least they're not asking a ridiculous amount of money.
