Might be time to go to plan two or use O_Ds suggestion. I inquired about buying Mr. Porter's carpet a couple of years ago via email and he never responded.

He may be old school who prefers the phone so since he doesn't list it in his ad not sure he uses email -- at least to do Packard business. I've ran into several vendors who don't often use computers.

I like original looking but it doesn't have to be exactly as it left the factory. Another vendor had something I liked in a plush pile carpet kit with a great color match so went that direction. Not sure he still offers kits but If you don't hear back and are not that strict into authenticity it might be an option.

Well, at the moment I don't have a carpet at all and don't really have any reference to an authentic Packard carpet so I may go with plan B here if I won't get a reply from Neal. Ready kits would be the best option I think.
