Hi
Great photos, keep them coming! Dave: Do you recall who the coachbuilder was of the Hispano-Suiza phaeton in photo 16? In the spirit, a period photo kicking round variously on-line, a '51 300 or Patrician filling up at an unknown location. Natty uniforms then for full service. Steve

Here's some more, the Mercedes and Stutz boat tail are from a local VMCCA chapter meet in NJ in the earlier 70s. Not sure what model the M-Bs are, but imagine - 2 of them no less. Can anyone here identify them by model? - 540 perhaps? Note the Diplomatic (DPL) plates on one of them. The 23rd Series Custom 8 is mine, the only color picture I have of it, bought it in 1960 for $85, sold it about a decade later. It was taken with Ektachrome which did not prove as archival as Kodachrome in terms of color stability. Not sure what the Chrysler product is, perhaps a Plymouth - I don't believe it's a DeSoto or a Dodge. The Packard truck was photographed at Hershey, Rhinebeck Aerodrome has a similar one.

Steve - good call, you got me! Sorry about that. On quick glance I thought it was Andrade's Fleetwood but now remember that had polished aluminum hood panels. No, I don't recall who the coachbuilder was, Kellner would be a wild guess. If you're partial to Hispanos I'll look for some of them, there was an H6 convertible in this area for years, finally got restored and went to Pebble. Also during the Pontiac National PAC meet we visited Brian Joseph's shop and he had a pair of Hispano J12s!! and alas, I was w/o camera. PS - any takers on identifying the radiator cap in picture #2 of post #29 (I know the answer)?

Close, very close - but no cigar. I'll email you the answer so others can post their claim.
