Yeah that's a 200 with the optional 300 engine, same thing as mine. Note the faucet valve to turn his heat on and off, high tech. The interior looks very similar to mine, seats have been redone to a solid color. I also see the windshield wiper motor is missing. All my reading on this site and elsewhere, I'm learning!

Definitely not a bad car. Old school on the heater valve though. One on the head was all there was until sometime after the 22nd series started production. Hoses look kind of strange on the side of heater so with the funky valve installed, I'd almost bet the thermostatic valve started leaking and someone did the easy fix and bypassed it. Expect many couldn't find or didn't want to spend for a good valve or don't know the rubber piece for that valve can be obtained thru Napa and valves repaired -- although messing with the crimps means it is not the easiest item to fix.

$16k would be with a 10 second timesheet,, otherwise maybe $10k.......depending on your level of seduction to the concept. I despair of the screwing up of Packards with Chev 350's and Big Blocks. Why don't they just buy a Chev or Ford.... I just do not understand the mental maths... PT

Wasn't the car on ebay once before? Still amazed those hinges can hold that huge door. Don't see a hood support on the cowl so wonder if something interesting happened there also.

I like the car, but why do that to the doors? The car is basically an original and as such is very nice. I just don't get it ...

You can make a lot of really neat things from the parts left over after you rebuild your engine ...
