Hi JW
Sorry, just a regular Touring Sedan, here's the link to more photos. Looks decent, incorrect interior and paint in various places: 39packman.wordpress.com/ For the right price, a good car that a new owner could take further, correct the problems, have a really nice '39 Six. Steve

I don't think they made a touring coupe after 37 in the junior series anymore.

Touring coupe, I assume you mean a coupe-victoria a/k/a a 2-door sedan? I don't know offhand about the intervening years but they surely made them for 1941 model year, a small number of them survive though unfortunately quite a few of those have been hot-rodded.

I don't see any in the junior line up after 38 O_D, or am I missing something?
To make sure we talk about the same model, here's the 37 120 version: Attach file: (14.12 KB)

Hi BDC; yes, you're missing something. Though the 41's seem to be more common, here's a photo of a 1940 junior coupe-sedan and they were available on the 110 or Six chassis thru 1941.

I should of known better to argue with someone who owned his Packard long before I was born
Obviously you were right! Back to Packard school for me, never to old to learn, thanks for setting the record straight.

BDC, the coupe-sedans or 2-door sedans were a staple of the low price car makers, probably the reason they were only found in this era in the lowest price Packard. Their appeal was largely to a young family with limited $ as they afforded seating for 5, were less expensive than a 4-door sedan, and offered what some viewed as a further advantage in that the children in the rear were considered safer without a door.

Thanks for the correction. The photo in the ad was not clear in showing the rear door handles and windows, but the website ad you provided a link to shows many views. Still a nice car. (o{}o)
