Hello all. Does anyone have a part number for front and rear brake shoes for a 1949 Deluxe Touring Sedan? I've been able to get wheel cylinders here north of the 49th, but would also like to get some new shoes. Thanks in advance to those who post.

If it won't move, get a bigger wrench.
If it breaks, it needed fixing anyway.

According to my Packard parts book the front and rear shoes, with lining, are the same part number 410576. The Wagner- Lockheed part number is
WE2003 (riveted) and WEB2003(bonded). If you have a local brake shop you can also get the shoes relined.

If you cant get the work or parts locally, try this guy in Illinois.

Good luck

Thank you! Going to a couple of part stores today with a shoe to try and ID. This information will be most helpful.

Well, no one recognized the numbers, that's ok. I can get them relined for $72.00 a set locally. So $140.00 for all 4.
I think that's reasonable.

Go for it! I had mine relined in 2004 for $70 for the front and $70 for the rear plus shipping.
