My friend has a 1937 115c which has starter problems. It an Auto-lite
MAX-4006. The question is will a 1940 MZ4078 or a 1941 MAW4024
directly interchange with the MAX4006? Thanks

I would choose the 4024 over the 4078. That said, there is not much that cannot be rebuilt in the 4006, why not just send it to Jason at AER for a proper rebuild?

FWIW, Jason is a little backed up at the moment.
