I have duplicates of the center door posts for my 526 but the wood and metal surrounding the door latch striker and centering guide are in bad shape. In addition, I do not have any of the striker and guide pieces as shown in the photograph. Does anyone have an extra set that I could borrow to have my machinist fabricate 4 sets for me. I would be happy to purchase if someone had extras or would return any loaner.

John Ulrich has new brass door strikers, they are listed as 1930 but they look the same as other models and in my experience they are all the same for that era:

LeBaron Bonney supply new "Door Dovetails" see page 12 of their catalog. they are not identical but close to the Packard ones

Steele Rubber Products make the rubber bumpers in the dovetail fittings, specifically for the Packard. The outer cover is easily reproduced from flat sheet.

Thanks for the info. I have already ordered the rubber alignment bumpers but have no cover to copy. The model A strikers are a couple of different sizes and screw hole spacings. For that reason, I would like an original Packard part to copy.

I would still like to purchase extras or borrow to make exact duplicates.
