I see a lot of info for fuel pumps, but what I don't see is weather or not the fuel pumps for the V-8 are interchangeable, I know that the V-8s used the same block and I assume the same fuel pump was used, am I correct in that assumption, or do I need more info?

All V8s used the same Carter M-2198S pump originally so they were interchangeable. The various modern pumps that have been found to work such as the duals mentioned in another post should also be interchangeable.

Some fuel pump can be "clocked" into different positions upon reassembly.
