With his apparent lack of brain cells if the truck fell or caught fire there would be no loss to the gene pool of the human race. If he worked at a place with a safety department he would be fired at the least.

Jim Hill in oklahoma has just finished a home garage safety booklet and is sending a copy to me. He wants everyone to use it and he purposely does not have it copyrighted so it can be used by all. When I recieve the copy I'll see if Kev has any iterest in adding it to the site. It is not Packard specific but it might just save someone who works on their own cars at home from injury or diaster.

The gas "tank" (a 5 gallon can, no doubt) is probably sitting on the front seat connected to the carb with hose from his fish tank. So there, no problem welding underneath the truck.

This is the kind of person that, after having narrowly survived a self-caused calamity and one of the reporters asks the question "Do you know what common sense is?" replies "Common CENTS? Ain't that the pennies I found in the parkin' lot?"

I'd like to know how he got the truck up high enuf to get the poles under it. I'm guessing about 8 men lifted it up while another man set the poles under it.
