Have a '38 Packard,1601 series, 4-dr. touring sedan.

What attaches to the throw out bearing collar that will keep it from spinning around?

I can't see how the throw out bearing and collar are attached to the shifting fork.

I didn't take this apart myself and I am in the dark as to how it goes back together.

Whilst taking a nap under my 38 coupe I snapped a pic of my TO bearing- hope it helps. There is a little spring that hold the whole mess together.
