What's with the air cleaner? This is the second time in as many weeks I've seen pictures a cleaner on a 55-56 Packard facing the back of the car. Is there something going on here I'm in the dark about?

Looks like a regular hood with louvers added. Fit looks a bit funny in front. Also not sure what's going on with L headlight and grill bar. Looks like it might be lower down at the hood side corner. Might be delusional optics or reflection or damage??

I've recently wondered how best to search for Packards around the country and came acrossautotempest.com/
It was able to search all craigslist for Packards and some other sites like ebay as well. I was impressed and thought I'd pass that info along.
