Basically I need a headliner for a 54 clipper deluxe 4 dr

Where can I get one besides kanter.

I found some listed for 55-56 clippers but will the fit?

Any info appreciated.....

SMSsmsautofabrics.com/products/headliners.php might be one option. With their large NOS fabric supply, they would be the company most likely to have original type for the 54. You can send a sample to see if they can match or request samples of what they might have that would be close.

LeBaron Bonneylebaronbonney.com/ might also be an option. They have some mid 50s Ford and Chevy headliners so might have something appropriate.

Try also Bill Hirsch, they have a large selection of wool broadcloth which should match what you've got...the front seat cushion in my otherwise unrestored '54 Patrician needed re upholstery and they had the exact duplicate in color and weight! You'll need a good upholstery shop to cut and fit it, though...it's the raw goods by the yard. But worth it. Free samples, too.

I haven't had experience with their headliners is there a reason that you don't want to go with Kanter?

Anyone have any experience with a company on Ebay goliners they are listing headliner for 239.99 and say they are built off the originals and ready to be installed.

i board 2 on ebay one for my 38 chevrolet and one for my packard 53 there both fit perfect .
