Fun run parts exchange

After a PM exchange with BigKev, I am starting this thread focused on the "Fun Run Parts Exchange" to be held in conjunction with the car show on Saturday, Nov 10 10AM -2PM.

The purpose of this thread is help "optimize" the Parts Exchange. If you are attending the Fun Run and would like to buy/swap/exchange some Packard parts, post on this thread which parts you want/need or have and WOULD bring if someone expressed interest. There's no sense in packing the Packard (or your tow vehicle) with a bunch of parts nobody wants or regretting that you would have bought/swapped a part ONLY IF someone who has it would have brought it.

To start things off, in the following post I'll list some Packard parts that I have that I could load into my 55 Pat if someone expresses interest. Most of these parts are large and I'm not loading them if nobody wants them.

I have in good condition:

Front windshield from 1956 400

Rear glass from 1956 400 and 1955 Patrician

Front power seat frame from 1956 Executive 4dr

Radio (Wonderbar) head unit and amplifier from 1956 400

I also have but cannot load in my 55 Pat (If you're interested in any of these, maybe you could swing by Pahrump on the way to/from Laughlin):

1955 352 engine less intake, carb & distributor

1956 374 engine mostly complete (less distributor, water pump, air cleaner)

1955 Clipper Super 4dr project or parts car

I will have to check what parts if any I have left. Most of what I had was sold at the PI Swapmeet last year.

I know I have a set of NOS "Custom" scripts that I think are from a '55 or '56 Clipper.

Also may have a 2bl non-oil bath air cleaner that originally came on my '54

Probably a few other minor small parts....

One thing I do have is the seats that were in my '54 when I bought it. These were the ones I stripped down to bare frame, painted, and rebuilt all the seat foam on and are shown in my project blog. They need to goto a good home (for free) or else they are getting scrapped. Local pickup only on those as they would be a royal pain to ship and deal with. Not bring to Laughlin as they are too bulky.

Great idea about this thread, Craig!

WTB

For a 1940 model

I am looking for a particular pan that goes in the front grill shell and is a removable filler piece. The pan fits between the bottom of the radiator and a panel that bolts to the nose of the grill. I hope the image provides a better idea of what part I'm looking for. Please bring with if you have a spare!

Thanks,
Jim
