Here are some pictures of some of the cars seen on Friday. I photographed probably over 100 vehicles. I will post groups as best I can. Here is a beautiful cousin of ours.

I hear the 54 Panther Daytona went for over $800,000. If you have an interest in the Panters you might want to see this:

Owen_Dyneto,
The Panther sold for 750k. With all the fees associated plus AZ sales taxes I'm certain the owner was well over 800K. Here is another cousin (57 Packard wagon). She sold for 42k on Thursday not including tax and fees to BJ. This was an outstanding restoration in my opinion.

I was honored to be in the Panther's presence. This was my very first time being next to such a piece of the Packard Motor Car Company's history. She was somewhat hard to photograph given the manner in which BJ staff had parked her. Her stable-mate was the Diablo.
1954 Packard Panther concept car.

Kevin, thanks for the photos, and any others you might have of Packards of any other CCCA Full Classics. I did happen to catch the 37 Twelve with 1917 Pierce body (the former Gordon/Melton/Rockerfeller/O'Quinn car) pass the block but I had no patience to wait out what seemed like half the Corvettes and Mustangs in the country to see any more.

Owen_Dyneto,
You are indeed correct sir. Corvettes, and all manners of Mustangs, Cobras and Shelbys were ubiquitous throughout the event. I inquired and one reason offered was that they were honoring Carroll Shelby's recent passing. This 1930 Packard dual-cowl was stunning, awesome and it nearly made me breathless. The color of course drew me in like a moth to a flame as the saying goes. I stared for several moments and I looked around for the owner. I asked a BJ staff member if he was aware of the owner and he said he was. I at that point said to myself, WTH.......I pulled out my cellular telephone and scrolled to a picture I have of my '55 Packard 400 (I have no grandchildren as of yet). I explained to the fellow that I was a hopeless Packard automobile lover and would it be okay IF I WERE to cross the barrier and allow my pal to photograph me by this gorgeous vehicle. He smiled, mentioned that maybe one day I'd also own a full-classic and showed me the way. Well, maybe one day, maybe. Anyway.......here she is in all her splendor.

A 1937 Packard Twelve. I'd love to those that know to tell me more about this example.
