Interesting! One could revitalize this one in its present form or perhaps drop the body onto 1936 V-12 running gear?

Can't do that. The VIN number is tied to the body style and it will lose it's CCCA status.

I'm not quite sure I understand. The serial number of the car is 927 xxx. That says it was originally a Twelve convertible victoria. So, if you took the body, and put it onto a Twelve chassis, everything would be correct with the world.... or am I not understanding something?
