Hello all,
OK transmission in the shop, good recommendations have told me to fix while it out. I also have a spare trans that we will use for parts if needed. Does anyone know who might have replacement synchros?
Thank you

If your synchro brakes are worn beyond the adjustment range, replacements are made by a friend up in Michigan and sold thru Max Merritt. About $750 as I recall, an extremely complicated piece to manufacture.

You should try not to break up the second transmission.

Your transmission guy should be able to tell you if the synchros are too worn to adjust. After that the proceedure for shimming is outlined in one of the manuals. You have to shim the input and main shafts to get a given amount of movement of the yoke.
