Spark Plug Wires

I intend to fabricate a new set of spark plug wires for my '54 Clipper Super, 327CI/165HP, L8. Might I notice the difference between using the $00.69/foot Belden wire from NAPA, versus MSD or Granatelli wiring at many times the cost?
Has anyone out there fabricated a set for like engine, and, if so, any tips for the fabrication? Also, as far as coils are concerned, do you just go with the basic NAPA 6V coil, or do you recommend a more expensive, higher quality coil..if so, what brand? Thanks again for all your knowledge and patience with a neophyte. Thanks to all your help, my car is running great!

I have made dozens of sets with the Napa wire over the years. Works great. Likewise no problems with their coils.

Thanks, Ross, I kind of figured as much. I mean, it's not like I really need zero-resistance wires for a racing engine. Those prices of $75-$100 bucks or so for wires did seem unreal. I will act accordingly. Thanks again for your mentorship!
