What year, model and engine? Most postwar parts that were black were semi-gloss but some prewar engine parts were gloss black. I'm guessing postwar since you include battery box.

Heater box, air and oil filter, oil filler cap, battery box and hold down, front radiator splash panel all semi-gloss black.
