Hi. Are there any packard owners out there who live in oregon or the Portland metro area? I'm hoping to find a network of people to ask questions and answer questions.

As for me, I'm in the Portland metro area.

The Packard Club's (PAC) membership directory shows about 35 members in Oregon and several in Portland. The membership directory is restricted for member use only so if you're not a member of PAC, I'd suggest joining the National club which will get you a copy of the Directory, and also join the local region that covers Oregon, Pacific Northwest Packards,pnwpackards.com I understand it's a very active region.

Note that you must be a member of the national club before you can join a region. I guess I shouldn't say "national" as PAC is an international club with my overseas members, but you get the gist.

kbradley77.......Since Portland is a suburb of Vancouver WA., (I live in Vancouver) I thought I'd answer up to your query. I have two Packard's and I believe Portland Don has a few. If you care to PM me we can swap #'s and email addresses. Looking forward to hearing from you.
Regards,
Steve Fisher

There is a Packard club in this area. Go to packardsoforegon.org. The club meets monthly.

I am in McMinnville area. I'm no expert. Haven't been working on Packard due to a home remodel of my 120 year old house! There is a local Packard club that is very active.

Short answer: Yes!

I live in the inner N/NE area of Portland close to Emanuel Hospital.

I'll be happy to share what little I know.

If there is something that will keep you absorbed more than restoring an old Packard, it's restoring an old house! Mine's only 105 years old.
