Is anyone out at Hot August Nights this week? After 2 days I have not seen a single Packard. The closest I got was a straight 8 Packard engine in a rat rod.

Day 4 of my quest to find the elusive Packard-asouris at Hot August Nights. This search has proven to be most difficult as the creature is apparently very shy... no luck...

Keep your eyes open for a Yellow & White '55 Hudson Hollywood.
It has the Packard 352 with a 2X4 intake, a T86 OD & Furd 9" out back. CA plates.

Did not see that one, as I didn't go everywhere.
Brought my Kenosha Clipper up to Virginia City last weekend for the first two days of Hot August Nights. It got a lot of attention and a lot of photo opts, as 90% of the cars are big three, and a lot of them heavily modified. It was the only Hudson there. It has the factory Packard 352 and Twin Ultramatic. I bolted on the Rochester 4 barrel carburetor from a Packard 400, and that really helped performance.
Packard's International will be having a Virginia City Tour on August 22.
