Hi

Somewhat more reasonably-priced than that '35 at the Coys Auction, though not the rarified, pre-war desirable specimens:

A '38 Eight sedan, looks like a nice daily driver:
newjersey.craigslist.org/cto/5171402606.html

A 'blackout' 49 Eight, body looks solid, cheap:
cnj.craigslist.org/cto/5208628088.html

A '52 200, typical of how northeast cars outside end up:
burlington.craigslist.org/cto/5216019894.html

A '53 Clipper Deluxe, looks well-preserved:
hartford.craigslist.org/cto/5157846641.html

Finally, a very decent-looking '54 Patrician, if its better than it looks in the lousy pictures, well worth the price:
newjersey.craigslist.org/cto/5177180885.html

Steve

Added 9-17-2015

A '52 300, stick shift, cheap:
flint.craigslist.org/cto/5220599125.html

A nice original '54 Patrician, 75K miles:
bn.craigslist.org/cto/5218168148.html

A gorgeous '56 Patrician, 42K miles, ready-to-enjoy:
nmi.craigslist.org/cto/5212661789.html

Proud 1953 Clipper Deluxe owner. Thinking about my next Packard, want a Clipper Deluxe Eight, manual shift with overdrive.

Hi

Variety is the spice of Packards:

The short of it, a '40 110 coupe, economical:
detroit.craigslist.org/wyn/cto/5211810005.html

The long of it, a '47 Custom Super seven passenger, gorgeous, known provenance:
cincinnati.craigslist.org/cto/5219164844.html

A '50 Super Eight, looks great, list a 288, should be a 327, check the engine number first:
chicago.craigslist.org/nwc/cto/5221589679.html

That nice original '49 Super Deluxe Eight, someone should buy before I give in and do it, price softening:
milwaukee.craigslist.org/cto/5210804812.html

That black '54 Cavalier that's been listed for a long time, setting ten years, needs motor work from cracked block, not valuable enough to store properly but priced as if it is.
racine.craigslist.org/cto/5196458225.html
Hope someone can buy this one for the right price before its becomes a weathered parts car.

Steve

Isn't the Carib interior really for a clipper? Still cheap at 18$, but....

Uhhh. Nope. Neither the interior nor the hubcap shown came from a Caribbean. Not even from a senior Packard. This is all Clipper stuff. But yes, nice price even then.

Handsome-looking 1956 Patrician... serious money...but oddly, it has no pushbuttons and has a non-original Clipper radio with Clipper knobs on the radio... and the headliner does not look like a factory type at all.

When the price gets into this category and things have obviously been reworked, it ought to be correct.

It may be "turn key" but it has been customized/modified.

Hi Leeedy

You're right, at that serious money, everything should be correct. Though, if its as good as it looks otherwise, correcting those details shouldn't be reason to dismiss it.

Odd how sellers asking major prices for very nice cars can't be bothered to back them out of the dark garages, photograph the car in good light to show it to the best advantage.

More V8's:

A '55 Caribbean, 'back porch' continental kit:
southbend.craigslist.org/cto/5202563819.html

A '56 400 'some assembly required':
columbus.craigslist.org/cto/5203777705.html

A '56 Patrician parts car, typical weathered eastern car:
jerseyshore.craigslist.org/cto/5200675932.html
