Hi. I have got everything disconnected from the engine, and the front lifts up, but it doesn't seem like the trans is lifting. I have what I think are the mounts disconnected, but it won't budge. What am I forgetting?

I don't remember where the actual separation occurs but one thing I see is the studs appear to be pushed up tight against the end of the slots. Can the crossmember be loosened? If not is there any rubber isolating material which has become stuck onto the two parts.

Undo the six bolts that hold the rear crossmember to the frame and let it drop down onto the flanges of the frame's x-member. That till hold the back of the trans up until you begin to slide the engine out. Unless you drop that crossmember there is not enough vertical clearance for the studs to lift upwards out of the slots.
