Sorry. This isn't cars, nor is it mine. A friend e-mailed these to me and I thought that this could very easily happen to a stored car.

I'd think twice if he invites you over for a barbque, the meat might taste a little funny.

I once went to an old wrecking yard looking for dash parts for a '59 Rambler I had. I took a machete with me to cut down the grass to get the door open. Once inside I sat down in the passenger seat and started taking the plastic dash grille out (it was pristine) I heard hissing. I looked down, and the glove box in the middle of the dash was about 1" open, and I could see a pair of eyes staring at me!!! It startled me so bad I jumped out of the car, hitting my head against the door jamb on the way out. I grabbed my machete and reached in and pried the rest of the glove box open with the blade. 3 baby possums were curled up and one ticked off momma. I left without my speaker grille but with a big knot on the head.

Nothing that bizarre or gruesome to report in Packards or otherwise, BUT...
One of my cats, "Seven", a female calico with an eye-patch like Seven-of-Nine of Star Trek Voyager fame. loves to go into my garage and walk all over everything. Especially, she likes to walk all over freshly washed Packards and leave dirty paw prints. Fortunately, I haven't found her INSIDE anything, yet. 1956packardpanther.com/SevenHelpingOnLaundryDay.jpg Craig

here is a nest on my in-laws other home in Indiana. as you can see in September it was two panels long. Wife and I were out there a few weeks back and it was five panels long now. Hopefully they are all gone since we will be going out there this weekend to hopefully take it down.

If anyone isn't convinced that a cormorant is an UGLY bird, they only need to watch that video. When I was a kid (long time ago) I always thought the Packard hood ornament was a swan. Much better looking and also very graceful. I still prefer to think of it that way.

Dear Guscha,
At this point your THREAD has turned into a 6-Ton tow rope. Congratulations! I have nominated you for a "2008 Pinfo EmMee-Me Award" based on nothing in particular. When the award arrives, it will be delivered by a Fishing Coromorant with a pink string around it's neck. Just gently open THE BIRD'S beak and your trophy will be found inside (see video for further instructions). Congratulations anyway, DanL

Since BigKev has posted our Turkey on the PInfo Website masthead, let the festivities begin.
Have a Blessed Thanksgiving and don't spent TOO MUCH time on the Turkey-Powered-PInfo Website. BUT Let's Re-review the progress for page ONE. We started with: 1. A Squirrel-Powered Website! 2. Guscha's Marten-launcher-Packard! 3. 55ClipGuy's "Cat-Purring-Packard! 4. Phil38's "Hot Nuts Fiero" 5. And BigKev's "Rat"-Rod Clipper. Note: We are still waiting for RedRon's Packard Mascot "Dirty-Dorothy Duck" to join us later in this forum. s302.photobucket.com/albums/nn ... urrent=DIRTYDORTHY010.jpg IN ADDITION WE HAVE: (in no particular order) BigKev's invitation to "Test-Drive the New/Old Cougar" Dave Baird's bump-on-the-head Studebaker with Snake as back seat driver. West P's friend with a recipe for tangy Honey BBQ Bees! AL's Packard Model B (Bee) -'Bama-style' PortlanDon chauffering the 'Snake-River-Rambler' Mr PushButton doing Packard-Farming at Victor Mouse Ranch. Tom's in-laws with outlaw Bees, wasps, aliens? What kind nest is THAT? Guscha - or 'Super-Squirrel,' as all of Europe affectionately calls him. By the way Randy, I thought Packard's Cormorant/Swan-Song was the 57-58 model? CAUTION: IF THE HISSING SOUND is coming from the back seat and not from the radiator, leave the vehicle immediately (preferably by way of the door) being car-ful not to hit your head on the roof on your way out!!! What's next? ANYONE? ANT BRIGHT IDEAS? DAnL
