For those of you, who have never seen an original looking ZIS upholstery fabric please find below a contrasting juxtaposition of the vehicle interiors. The floral curtain fabric of the one, offered in ebay has been an unfavorable makeshift to say the least.

Let's listen to the seller:

"...Upon return home 5 years later I kept the car in storage as it would not fit in the garage. I never started the engine and ZIS stayed in storage for all these years. When I brought car to Houston it was in perfect working condition. Everything, including the original radio and hydraulic power windows were in working order..."

Description and pics provide the impression of a car, that has been stored in a dry and even heated stockroom. Are that, what we see puddles of water (see below)? More probably hydraulic oil. I agur a relation between the stains and the astonishing detail knowledge of the seller, that a ZIS is equipped with hydraulic power windows.

The pic below is a press photo with data on the back. It shows Nikita in a ZIS and was taken 1963, a couple of months before he was removed from power (-> wikipedia).
The seller has been so creative to adapt the facts for the stage. Let's have a second look at the artistically dramatized screenplay:

"...most of the existing ZIS 110s were destroyed by order of Nikita Khrushchev who took the highest office in the USSR after Stalin. Khrushchev condemned Stalin and accused him in creating a cult of his personality. Everything associated with Stalin was removed from public places and destroyed. ZIS is a Russian abbreviation for "Zavod Imeni Satlina (Plant named after Stalin)" In this anti Stalin campaign the plant was renamed and became "Plant named after Likhachov" and all ZIS 110 limousines were ordered to be destroyed..."

Everything associated with Stalin was removed from public places and destroyed? -> Down to the present day Stalin is buried at the Kremlin Wall.

Be it reasonable or not, the -> first bid was placed.
Please find attached a photograph that explains, why one or another ZIS has red or green navigation light glasses. The pictured type of bus is one of the potential sources.
