Fred, The car chassis looks great--can't wait to see the finished car--keep the pictures coming

Here are some picture of the Fred's adventure with a crud thug. This is a very nice tool for removing under coating and rust. As you can see Fred will have some pin holes to contend with on the floor pans. But a formal plan of action will be made once all the cleaning is done.

At least Fred and I have the same idea for work wear. White T shirt no matter what the job is.... thumbs up Fred.

Now that the sheet metal is beginning to be addressed I've decided to use both welding in panels and high strength Panel Bond, the stuff they assemble new cars with. In areas where there are many smaller holes this will seal the area and add strength to the floor that has become thin.

Will advise how it goes.

Tomorrow I'll strip the upholstery from the division assembly. Since the windows were open for many many years and the roof war porous to be generous, much of the partition needs replacing. A friend has a cabinet shop right around the corner and will cut any new panels needed, I will have to learn cabinetmaking.

Fred, I hope I'm as ambitious as you when I get older! good for you!

According to Fred, you all have it wrong. As the restoration progresses you get younger as well. So re-live your youth and keep on wrenching on those Packards.
