No Major leaps and bounds but consistent progress is key to completion of any restoration. It is all the small items that add up to progress. Accessories for the engine are being cleaned, rebuilt piece by piece, painted and installed.

It testing fitting and mock up time at Kanter Auto Restoration. As previously discussed Fred is doing his best to use all NOS sheet metal, trim and chrome on the nose the limo as possible. With the undersides of the front half of the body painted as well as the center section. He and the guys at the shop have mount the front section of body in preparation of installing the center section of floor so work can begin on the B-pillar, roof and rear doors. Since the front was mount now is the best time to start fitting the nose and front doors to the body/frame.

With the recent stint of warm weather here in NJ. Fred has had the opportunity to remove the old paint and primer from the body in preparation of uniting the two sections of body. He has been using a combination of the paint stripper, lacquer thinner and steel wool to clean the passenger side front fender, front door and rear quarter panel.
