I want extend my apologies to the owner, whose photo I used in my blog but, imitation is the best form of flattery....
It's a beautiful example of a 1955 Packard Panama. I hope my "Connie" will look just as elegant.....

I don't understand the need to apologize for using a photo of a car that doesn't belong to you. As long as it is not used fro commercial purposes it's no issue. Even if it is used fro a commercial issue, such as a photo of a parking lot with some trees, would you have to get permission from every car owner AND from the "owner" of the trees?

Today is the day ! It couldn't get here fast enough !! I've a new set of shoes (tires) to put on her. Diamondback www's... About a 300 mile round trip to get her home....
It's a great day to own a Packard.

Congratulations on your new to you 'Connie'. My father owned one for several years in the 1960s, a black and yellow car. It was nicely appointed with power windows and seats. A great looking and driving automobile.
Notice in one of the photos that someone sandblasted the Packard script on the rear bumper. Interesting touch. Keep us appraised of the progress you make bringing this Constellation back. JWL
